In the mouth, the wine is at once lively and lusciously sweet without being at all cloying. The fine, zingy acid balances the fruit intensity ensuring a delightful flavour and mouthfeel sensation that lingers for an appealingly long time. In this case, the technique has produced a sweet wine with the purity and citric zing of a high-quality dry Riesling, but with enough sweetness to handle dessert.
