Back to Bordeaux: a special of some of the Best of Bordeaux for current drinking

A lifetime and several feet of snow ago, we sent the Surf4Wine buying team to Bordeaux. Their mission was to find a spread of wines across all price ranges from the Médoc, Saint-Emilion and Pomerol and other Right Bank appellations.

Our crack team of tasters have come up with some lovely wines from previous vintages that appeal to all tastes, whether you prefer the weight and structure of a Northern Médoc or the easy, succulent damson fruit of a ripe Saint Emilion.

And now is the perfect time to be thinking about Bordeaux. The 2009 vintage is quite brilliant, and we'll be in Bordeaux to report on this fabulous vintage, as the en primeur campaign gets under way in April this year - so get your taste-buds in the mood with our latest offer.
