Q Gardens don't seem to have their own web site, so we've built them a page on our site... we love them that much! It was very hard to find info on them when we blogged about them recently, so we decided to take matters into our own hands.

Q Gardens Farm Shop... Farm shop opens daily 9am to 6pm, 7 days a week, with its own -in-house butcher, selling locally reared meat, open from 9am - 6pm weekdays, 9am - 5pm weekends.
A proper, top-class butcher open on Sundays? You're kidding, right?
Nope, it's true! So, what the heck are you waiting for food-lovers of south Oxfordshire? Get yourselves down there! Beats the socks off anything you'll buy in a supermarket at the week-end, or any other time come to that... not that super-markets are evil. We shop there too for the stuff we have to. Just not fresh meat, veggies and other stuff we can get at our great local farm shops (I can see a Blog-feature on 'Oxfordshire foodie heaven' coming soon....)

• 28.04.08 - new seasons asparagus in stock.
  Very yummy. Go traditional and serve with melted butter.Or bang up-to-the-minute and grill it with Maldon sea salt and serve with grated fresh Parmesan. Or try the Nigel Slater recipe that Alison cooked last Monday.
• 30.04.08 - just found this article on Thames valley Farmers market cooperative web site
  - An excellent resource for foodies in Thames Valley area who are interested in what they eat and where it comes from. It's the only half decent reference to Q Gardens I could find online - until now!
• 01.05.08 - Watch out, Andrew passes the farm shop every day on his way to Surf4Wine's warehouse, and has gone off today with camera in hand...
• 02.05.08 - Nipped in to buy some of Q Gardens own-grown Purple Sprouting to make a veggie tart for supper as sister (veggie) and family are coming over tonight. Purple sprouting is a real favourite, and for me, so much nicer than Broccoli. Actually, it looks warms enough for a Bar-B, so maybe some of their own local lamb for the meat-eaters too...
