Winemaker at Saint Clair estate in New Zealand, Matt Thomson also makes the Italian Alpha Zeta wine range.
Recent vintages of Alpha Zeta wines show just how good a winemaker Matt is. Working with selected parcels of grapes where he managed to persuade growers to reduce yields and pick later (and as a result, riper: he produced some startlingly good wines.
