(Enlarge)		This single vineyard wine is made in the Valpolicella region - so why doesn't that name appear on the label? Pay attention - here comes the politics bit. Italian law prescribes a certain amount of Molinara and Corvina in a wine that wants to be called Valpolicella. The Allegrini winemakers, though, just want to make a fantastic wine, and don't like to be told to add a 'permitted' amount of a certain grape in the blend. The result's a wine of much more depth and flavour than you'd expect from a Valpolicella.£14.50
